The ARM LOADER is a groundbreaking design by Hoyoung Lee, Doyoung Kim, and Youngwon Jeon that aims to address the challenges faced by loader operators on uneven terrains.

Loaders are essential heavy equipment used in various industries, but they often operate on uneven grounds, leading to motion sickness and fatigue for the drivers. The ARM LOADER tackles these issues by introducing innovative features that enhance stability and efficiency.

One of the unique properties of the ARM LOADER is its ability to recognize coordinate points on the ground, allowing the driver's seat to remain stable and minimize wavering. This feature significantly reduces the driver's fatigue, enabling them to carry out their work safely and efficiently.

To overcome the limited field of vision common in heavy equipment, the ARM LOADER is equipped with a front scene camera. This camera provides a better field of sight, enhancing the operator's awareness of potential threats and improving overall safety.

Maneuverability is another strength of the ARM LOADER. With its four wheels capable of turning 45 degrees from each central point, the loader can easily navigate tight spaces. The axis of the wheels extends towards the outside during turns, effectively controlling the interval between the wheels.

The ARM LOADER's design also prioritizes the recognition of the X, Y, and Z axes of the floor. It can accurately determine the slope and level of the terrain, marking sections with height in red for easy identification. This information is displayed on the center equipment of the loader, providing operators with crucial data for efficient operation.

Measuring 4020mm (w) x 9000mm (d) x 3640mm (h), the ARM LOADER is a compact yet powerful machine that combines cutting-edge technology with user-centric design.

The ARM LOADER project began in April 2013 in South Korea and was completed in June 2013 at Designsori Academy. The design team conducted extensive research at construction sites and interviewed loader operators to understand their needs and challenges.

This innovative design has garnered recognition in the industry, winning the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Heavy Machinery Design category in 2014. The ARM LOADER's outstanding expertise, innovation, and technical characteristics impressed the judges, showcasing a remarkable level of excellence.
